CDC authorized '2nd covid booster' for elderly

BREAKING NEWS: Americans ages 50 and older can now receive a second booster dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine.

“Boosters are safe, and people over the age of 50 can now get an additional booster 4 months after their prior dose to increase their protection further,” Dr. Walensky (CDC Director, White House COIVID response team)

On Wednesday, US President Joe Biden gets 2nd booster shot. President Biden said "We have enough tests on hand to weather the surge. But without funding, we're not going to be able to sustain the testing capacity beyond the month of June. And if we fail to invest, we leave ourselves vulnerable if another wave of the virus hits..."
