On Monday 6/13/22, stocks went down -151.23$. There are 2 types of markets: a Bear and a Bull. A bull market means the market is doing well and goes up a bear market is when a market goes down. They are called these names because a bull attacks up while a bear attacks downwards. In order for a market to enter a “bear market” it must drop more than 20% from the recent high.
Crude oil continues to sour and does not appear to be coming down. According to BankRate oil prices in the U.S are around 4.24$ nearly a full dollar above 2020 averages. (Although i'm sure you’ve seen higher prices)
The current expected annual inflation rate according to tradingeconomics is 8.6% the highest since 1981 when it was 8.6%.
According to ABC7, airfares have increased 17% since last month 17%
We just have to hope the economy gets better.
