"Lots to say about how grateful I am to President Biden and the First lady and the Biden family for trusting me to serve as Press Secretary and plenty of time before my last day to share, but today is about Karine Jean-Pierre so a few thoughts on this remarkable woman who will soon be behind the podium every day." Jen Pasaki, WH Press Sec.

Jean-Pierre was a former senior adviser to Biden's campaign who later served as chief of staff under Kamala Harris. She was previously under consideration to become White House press secretary, which originally went to Jen Psaki. Press secretary Jen Pasaki will leave the White House next week.
