Tilden's Forecast (Thursday)

Highs again were a little lower than expected due to cloud cover today (Wednesday). Tomorrow (Thursday) should be pretty nice and dry ahead of a wet Friday and Saturday.

Quick forecast:

Thursday: Mostly cloudy, Highs in the upper-60s to the low-70s.

Thursday night: Mostly clear, lows in the mid-50s.

Friday: Showers and possibly thunderstorms, highs between 60-and-65, windy.

Detailed forecast:

Tonight (Wednesday): All lingering showers leave the area before 10 pm-ish as lows drop to the mid-50s to around 60 as skies partially clear with winds out of the north at around 5-to-10 mph. Confidence: Medium-High.

Tomorrow (Thursday): Highs will be a nice bit cooler and dryer in the upper-60s to the low-70s with mostly cloudy skies moving in during the morning and light eastern winds. However, it's one of those days on which cloud cover will have a say in the high temp. If there are more clouds highs may only be in the mid-60s, if there are less then highs could be in the low-70s. Confidence: Medium-High.

Tomorrow night: Clouds will be mostly clear before increasing again towards dawn along with chances for showers ahead of a wet Friday. Lows will settle around the mid-50s with light southern winds. Confidence: Medium-High.

Friday: Periods of rain throughout the day with thunderstorms also possible during the afternoon and evening. Due to the amount of moisture in the ground prior to the system, there will be a chance for some flooding. Highs only reach between 60-and-65 with southeastern winds picking up and gusting up to 20-to-25 mph later in the day. Confidence: Medium.

Friday night: Showers and possibly thunderstorms continue into the night with lows down in the low to mid-50s and winds from the east gusting at around 20 mph. Confidence: Medium.

Saturday: Showers continuing throughout the day with highs only reaching the mid to upper-50s as winds come out of the northeast and gust around 20 mph. Confidence: Medium.

Saturday night: It's a little too early to tell for sure. Showers and skies could start to clear out, or rain and clouds could continue into Sunday. Lows should, however, be in the mid-40s to around 50 as northeastern winds continue to gust at around 20 mph. Confidence: Low.
