*A Winter Weather Advisory will take effect starting on March 12 (Saturday) at 7:00 a.m., and ending on March 12 (Saturday) at 3 p.m.
Tonight (Friday): Clouds increasing, with light and periodic showers ahead of an imminent system. Lows in the mid-30s to lower-40s with up to half an inch of rain possible. Confidence: Medium-High.
Tomorrow (Saturday): A powerful cold front passing near down, followed by rapidly dropping temperatures, strong winds, and a transition from rain to snow. Currently, it looks like 2-4 inches of snow could accumulate with blizzard-like conditions in the morning hours (see picture at bottom). Northwest winds will increase throughout the day gusting up to 50-mph which will keep temperatures dropping from the 40s in the morning down to the 20s near sundown. Confidence: Medium.
*Storm Dangers: Snow between 2-4 inches will provide poor travel conditions and wind gusts up to 50-mph could cause limbs/trees to topple over and power outages.
Tomorrow night: A chance of scattered snow showers with skies clearing in the evening. Winds continue to gust from the northwest at around 45-mph, which makes lows in the midteens to the lower 20s feel like the single digits. Confidence: Medium.
Sunday: Winds decrease overnight and into the morning, with highs reaching the low to mid-40s under sunny skies. Confidence: Medium-High.
Sunday night: Lows in the upper 20s to the lower 30s under mostly clear skies. Winds should be light to nearly calm. Confidence: Medium.
Monday: Ignore the snow melting as highs reach the mid-50s up to near 60 under mostly sunny skies. Confidence: Medium.
