More than one million people have died in the Coronavirus pandemic in the United States which is higher than in any other country, according to Johns Hopkins University COVID Resource center. The number of coronavirus cases is also increasing recently, and MCPS is now considering asking students/teachers to wear a mask. In recent 28 days, European countries such as Germany, France, and Italy is increasing a lot. Also, cases are increasing in Australia, Japan, and South Korea.
Tilden Middle School, The White House, and other places are doing half flags to honor people who sacrificed.
Keep in mind, this is only official deaths. More countries probably have higher death tolls, says the WHO.
