Tilden News Network interviewed Tilden 7th grader Kubo Ryohei, about the black tape on the 2nd-floor hallway...
Kubo told us that “the reason there was black tape on the 2nd-floor hallway is that in my Ms.Green’s robotic class, we made robots to follow the tape and we are testing tomorrow. We are using Legos to make a robot and we use a computer (the school's Dell windows computer) to code the robot to move.”
“We are using a color sensor to sense the black tape on the ground, the wheel and motor to move.” He also encourages 6th graders to join Ms. Green’s robotic class next school year, but it looks like his class was supposed to be a ‘Cyber Security class’, “I highly encourage 6th graders to join this class because it is really fun. But I don’t know if there's the same class next year because this class was supposed to be a cyber security class…”
UPDATE: Today is Race Day, and one of our editors, Milan, has given additional info. "The class is Mrs. Green's 4th period, so if you're on the 2nd floor today during 4th period, keep a look out!
