The Washington Capitals won 7 - 2 yesterday (March 17). As they won that game, they are currently in 4th place in the Metropolitan standings. If the caps keep it up, they will undoubtedly make it to the playoffs, in which they will have a shot of winning the Stanley cup just like prior in 2018. The caps play again later tonight (March 18) at 7 pm est against the Carolina Hurricanes.
