It is Friday! Thank you for checking the daily economic report. Today (on Friday), the Dow fell about 980 points (2.8%) following comments about likely aggressive interest rate hikes from Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell.
The S&P 500 - a collection of the top 500 U.S stocks, went down today... S&P 500 was 4,271.78 decreased by 2.77% from yesterday (Thursday).
The gas price is increasing date by date here in the United States and around the world. TNN economic team is publishing an average of 10 gas stations near Tilden Middle School on our economic home page. On Friday, it was $3.978 it is likey same as Thursday and Wednesday but it is rising by 1 dollar from last Friday. In other states/towns, the gas prices are much higher....
