Tilden Middle School students will take MCAPP English (ELA) testing on Wednesday 5/4, Thursday 5/5, Tuesday 5/10, and Thursday 5/12. This test was formerly known as PARCC and students will take this test to measure their academic growth from last year.
Where? Which Classroom?
When you (students) arrive at school in the morning, report to your homeroom. Most students will be tested in homeroom. ESOL students, Special education students, and other students who need special support will test in small groups. (Those students will receive passes to a small group testing location).
Schedule for Testing Dates.
The schedule for four testing dates will be the same as Math MCAPP. The first period starts at 10:37 am.
Chromebooks and expectations.
Students will be testing on their Chromebook. Tilden teachers are encouraging students to charge the Chromebook, and also bring a Chromebook charger just in case.
Students can not socialize, or open the Chromebook after they finish the test. Students may bring a school-appropriate book that they can read after the testing. Tilden MS is also encouraging students to get a good night's sleep and eat breakfast!
Forgot your Homeroom Teacher?
FOR ESOL 1 & 2 STUDENTS: ESOL 1 and 2 students' ESOL teacher will be their homeroom teacher.
