What you need to know about MCAPP

Tilden Middle School students will take MCAPP math testing on Tuesday 4/26 and Wednesday 4/27. This test was formerly known as PARCC and students will take this test to measure their academic growth from last year.

Where? (Very Important)

All 6th graders will take the test with your homeroom teacher. 7th and 8th graders will be tested based on their math class. If you are ESOL or special education student, you will test in a small class. For 7th graders, TNN exclusively received information about your testing teacher & classroom, you can find it very last in this article.

Math teachers should let students where to go on Monday. but if you have any questions, you can ask your math teacher or wolfpack teacher.

Schedule for Tuesday and Wedenesday

The first period starts at 10:37am (Eastern Time). There will be no wolfpack, and each class will be about 29 minutes. Here is the schedule:

After testing, you will remain in your testing group from 10:15 - 10:33 and you will review the morning announcements.

Chromebook and expectations

Students will be testing on their Chromebook. Tilden teachers are encouraging students to charge the Chromebook and bring it to school. You (students) should also bring a Chromebook charger just in case.

Students can not talk or open the Chromebook after they finish the test. Students may bring a school-appropriate book that they can read after the testing. Tilden MS is also encouraging students to get a good night's sleep and eat breakfast!

For 7th graders

The testing group is separate from Math 7 / IM students and Algebra students. You may get different teachers so please pay attention to your wolfpack teacher and math teacher.
